Standing on an enormous site measuring in at more than 50 square miles / 130 square kilometres, Denver International Airport (DEN) is the biggest airport in the whole of the USA and is served by many domestic and international airlines, which in total number just over 20 different passenger airlines.

This facility serves as an aviation hub for carriers such as Frontier (budget), Great Lakes (commuter) and United Airlines. Each year there are now more than 600,000 aircraft movements, making this giant appear in the top five busiest airports on the planet.

Denver's airport has one large terminal building, the Jeppesen Terminal, which is divided into east and west sides, and reached via Pena Boulevard. There are three midfield concourses based here, connected by a fast underground network. Allocated space is available for an additional two concourses to be built (D and E) when the need for further expansion arises.
